CapitalStatement is a product of Atkins Media AI & Software Solutions. We provide AI-powered bank statement analysis tools for lenders, brokers, and financial professionals. 2. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Uploaded Documents: Bank statements and financial documents you upload for processing. These are transmitted to our AI pipeline and are not permanently stored beyond the duration of your session.
- Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials.
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, report generation events, timestamps, and IP addresses.
- Payment Information: Billing details processed through Stripe. We do not store your full card number or CVV.
- Device & Browser Data: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and referring URLs, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process uploaded bank statements and generate analysis reports using AI
- Deliver, maintain, and improve the CapitalStatement service
- Manage your account, subscription, and credit balance
- Process payments and prevent fraud
- Send transactional emails (report delivery, receipts, support responses)
- Comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve the platform
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or uploaded documents with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. AI Processing & Third-Party Sub-Processors
CapitalStatement uses the following third-party AI services to process your uploaded documents:
- OpenAI (GPT-4o Vision): Used to extract transaction data from uploaded bank statements. Data is processed per OpenAI's Privacy Policy. OpenAI's API does not use your data to train models by default.
- Google (Gemini 2.5 Flash): Used to perform underwriting analysis and generate grade card scores, per Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: Used to process payments and manage subscriptions. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
By using CapitalStatement, you acknowledge that uploaded documents are transmitted to these sub-processors as part of the analysis pipeline.
5. Data Retention
Uploaded bank statement files are held in memory only for the duration of the analysis session and are not permanently stored after the session ends. Generated reports are created on-demand and delivered directly to your browser.
Account data is retained for the life of your account and up to 90 days after deletion, after which it is permanently purged.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit, secure API key management, and access controls. Contact us at support@atkins-media.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email support@atkins-media.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy
CapitalStatement is intended for professional use by adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
